Food!

Inspired by Tjokro.. haha3.. Waktu ngomong ama tjokro abis pulang dari cadbury world. Dia bilang lebih menarik ke cadbury world daripada ke athens. He got me thinking.. kayanya klo maw share experience travelling ama kalian.. paling penting share food, instead of places I visited. So.. These are several foods that made me enjoy my life! =)

1. Weisswurst (white sausage) Munich, Germany
White sausages are a traditional breakfast food in Munich. They are usually made with veal and pork and brought to the table in a soup tureen. Near-boiling water is added, warming these delicacies to perfection. There is no better way to start a day in Munich than in a beer garden with white sausages and beer. It is local comfort food.

2. Roasted pork Knuckle - Munich

The picture says it all. =) Sinful food, but ultimately delicious.

3. Chocolate lover Gelato (with mango!) - Barcelona

Coklatnya gila2an.. abis makan langsung agak serak tenggorokannya.. =) 

4. Currywurst ( Curry Sausage ) - Hamburg

Currywurst (German pronunciation: [ˈkœʁiˌvʊʁst]) is a fast-food dish of German origin consisting of hot pork sausage (German: Wurst) cut into slices and seasoned with curry ketchup (regularly consisting of ketchup or tomato paste blended with curry) and generous amounts of curry powder, or a ready-made ketchup-based sauce seasoned with curry and other spices.

5. Gebrannte Mandeln (Sugar Coated Nut) - Germany

Hmm.. makan ini waktu jalan2 di semacam amusement parknya. =) Jadi banyak banget gitu yang jual snack2 n makanan.. kacangnya dibalut gula terus dipanggang. =) Yummy!

6. Pork Ribs with Czech sauces. =) And the potato with onion and bacon. - Prague

It was super good!! =) The pictures shall speak for itself.

7. Trdlo (Bread Rolls) - Prague 

The first is these little pastries that they roll into a string, dredge in sugar, then wrap around a cylinder about the size of a rolling pin and run it over a mechanized rotisserie-like thing with a gas flame. When it is nice and toasty, they roll it again in sugar, almonds and spices. When they give it to you, it's still warm enough that you have to hold it with a napkin, two fingers in the middle. (sorry.. picturenya ngambil dari inet soalnya yang punya foto ini prajna.. haha3)

8. Souvlaki - Greece

Souvlaki (Greek: Σουβλάκι) or souvlakia is a popular Greek fast food consisting of small pieces of meat and sometimes vegetables grilled on askewer. It may be served on the skewer for eating out of hand, in a pita sandwich with garnishes and sauces, or on a dinner plate, often with fried potatoes. The meat is traditionally lamb in Greece and Cyprus, or in modern times increasingly pork due to the lower cost.
